The Blessing Barn is the primary funding source for Compassion New England. The process is amazing but simple! People from the community donate lightly used (but amazing) items. We sell those items and use 100% of the proceeds to operate the programs of CNE. Over the years, The Blessing Barn has truly become a community of its own. We are so thankful to our loyal customers and donors for making the work of CNE possible!
The Blessing Barn Home Store
The Blessing Barn Home Store is our thrift store and sharing center located at 5 Hastings St, Mendon, MA. All items sold are donated by people in the community. The profits of the sales at our store go directly into the community by sponsoring our crisis care programs operated by our Non-Profit, Compassion New England.
We are open to the public but we also offer contactless pick-up: Mon-Sat 10am-4pm!
The Blessing Barn Bookstore
The Blessing Barn Bookstore is our second Mendon location at 9 Hastings St in Mendon, MA. The BBBS is dedicated to empowering and equipping our talented friends with intellectual disabilities by creating employment opportunities.
Beginning February 25, 2023, we will be open Tuesday – Saturday from 10am – 3pm.

The Blessing Barn Beacon Hill
The Blessing Barn Beacon Hill is our Boston location at 122 Charles Street, Boston, MA. Our Beacon Hill store exists to provide simple, short-term housing for patients and their support individuals needing medical care away from home. We are proud to provide a Room in the City.
